Great BBQ starts with science – the science of the food, cooking temperatures, cooking times, the distance between the charcoal and meat, as well as the charcoal itself.

Being BBQ enthusiasts ourselves, we love to experiment with these elements so every meal we cook - reaches its maximum potential.

 

With more than 20 years of experience in building biomass boilers, we came up with the idea for an updated form of charcoal – Smart Charcoal.

 

Backed by science, Smart Charcoal products will burn with high and consistent temperatures for longer periods of time while leaving fewer ash and odor byproducts.

 

Established in 2018 by three grilling enthusiasts, Smart Charcoal products are made from wood chips gathered as a secondary product of Latvian sawmills.

 

Located in Koknese, our factory has production capabilities of 450 T  amount of Smart Charcoal per month.
